We had it all-the mime, the belly dancers, the fire juggler, the balloon clown-plus, thanks to your impeccable taste, the right setting to insure that it was "La Dolce Vita" surreal instead of tacky. Your suggestion of the Menil chapel was inspiring and I still can't believe you found a baker willing to do a tiered doberge cake! You even found out how to get my best friend ordained so that she could officiate. Since that allowed us to write the whole ceremony, it felt meaningful and personal.

Several of my guests told me that it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding, but probably the greatest compliment comes from Bernard. You remember how hands-off he was during the planning? Now that it's done, he has said again and again that our wedding day was the most fun, the most joyous, the very best day of his life.
